C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de M. Aurel Socier, décédé le 8 janvier 2024, à l'âge de 88 ans.

Époux bien aimé de feu Pauline (née Larocque) Saucier.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Johanne Saucier (Michel Petrin), Loraine Saucier (Alain Larabie), Denise Saucier (Marc Lanois), Ron Lalonde (Anne Marry), Yvette Lalonde et Jean Guy Lalonde (Jean).

Grand-père et arrière-grand-père à plusieurs.

Frère de Angeline Saucier et Gerry Saucier.

Aurel va être manquez par plusieurs cousin(e)s, nièces, neveux, ami(e)s et membres de famille.

Prédécédée par ses parents Joseph et Emma (née Picard) Socier, ainsi par ses fils et filles; Marcel Saucier, Francine Mailly, Julie Lalonde et Robert Lalonde, et par plusieurs frères et sœurs.

La famille tient à remercier l'Hôpital de Winchester pour ses soins et compassion.

La famille et les amis sont invités à se rencontrer au Salon Funéraires Laurent Hill, 874, rue Notre Dame, Embrun, Ontario, le samedi 18 mai 2024, de 10h30 à 11h. Une cérémonie religieuse sera célébrée à la chapelle du Salon Funéraire à 11h00. Suivi par une réception.

 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Aurel Socier, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 88.

Loving husband of the late Pauline (née Larocque) Saucier.

Beloved father of Johanne Saucier (Michel Petrin), Loraine Saucier (Alain Larabie), Denise Saucier (Marc Lanois), Ron Lalonde (Anne Marry), Yvette Lalonde and Jean Guy Lalonde (Jean).

Adored grandfather and great-grandfather of many.

Brother of Angeline Saucier and Gerry Saucier.

Aurel will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Emma (née Picard) Socier. Also predeceased by his children Marcel Saucier, Francine Mailly, Julie Lalonde and Robert Lalonde, and by many siblings.

The family would like to thank the Winchester Hospital for their compassion and care.

Family and friends are invited to meet at the Laurent Hill Funeral Home, 874 Notre Dame Street, Embrun, Ontario, on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 10:30 am to 11 a.m. A religious ceremony will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Followed by a reception.

Donations to the Winchester Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
